The Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) course is a two-year diploma program designed to train students in the fundamentals of nursing, midwifery and community healthcare services. Eligibility criteria

  • Minimum age shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
  • Maximum age for admission shall be 35 years.
  • Anganwadi, Asha workers and Trained Dias for ANM course shall be relaxed from 35 years to 42 years.
  • Minimum educational requirement is passing of 12 years schooling (10+2) in English medium in Science, Arts, Commerce or Health Care Science with 45% marks in aggregate.
  • Admission is subject to satisfactory medical examination report.
  • Admission for ANM is restricted only for female candidates.
