Sai Nursing Institute, Sankhalim, Goa, was established in the year 2014 with the objective of providing quality nursing education and contributing to the development of a competent healthcare workforce. The institute was founded under the leadership and guidance of the Honourable Chief Minister of Goa, Dr. Pramod Sawant, with a focus on strengthening nursing education and enhancing employability among youth.
Since its inception, the institute has consistently strived to uphold standards of academic excellence, professional ethics, and social responsibility. Sai Nursing Institute is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi, and affiliated with the Goa Nursing Council, Bambolim, Goa, and functions in accordance with the norms and regulations prescribed by the statutory and regulatory authorities.
The institute offers professional nursing programmes, namely Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM), General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing). The curriculum is designed to ensure an appropriate balance between theoretical instruction and clinical practice, enabling students to acquire essential knowledge, skills, and professional competencies required in diverse healthcare settings.
